“ What a great story this is… I know he’s a humble guy, and this will not go to his head. He’s worked so hard to get to this position. Hand on heart, I wondered if he’d still be a Seattle Sounder after his initial couple years. He started as a midfielder, he flirted with the right back position as the Sounders sought more depth there, but here he is as a striker, looking the part and scoring goals. The guy has clearly been in the gym recently, and the shaved-head look is pretty scary. He means business this season, and long may it continue for him. Terrific guy.
