The is a PRO-SOUNDERS tumblr. Positivity is practiced! I try to avoid vitriol and criticism and will show respect towards other people's rooting interests. Civility and kindness can extend from the real world to the online realm, try it.

We failed as a team. We didn’t fail as a person, we failed as a team.
— Michael Gspurning, Sounders FC goalkeeper
I’m sure they are more disappointed and embarrassed than you and I will ever know. For every ounce of shame we felt as supporters, they felt it tenfold. As easy as it was for any of us to change the channel or close our browsers, they were experiencing it in real time. They had to complete the full 90.
Don’t let this loss shake your Sounders core. Weaknesses were exploited, physical limitations were tested, the Sounders were simply outmatched. Pratfalls yield teaching moments and you learn from the losses, not the victories.
As Brad Evans tweeted earlier today, “What’s done is done.” On to the next one, as they say.
The Sounders kickoff their MLS season this Saturday. Clear eyes, full 90 (yes, I’m a huge FNL fan). And as always, Eternal Blue, Forever Green. Sounders ‘til I die!
