Referee : Terry Vaughn (This should be very, very interesting)

Notes and miscellany : Alvaro Fernandez did not travel with the team to Chicago due to his hamstring strain sustained in last week’s win against Real Salt Lake. Should be interesting to see who will take his place in the starting XI.

- O’Brian White returned to training this week with work on the stationary bike and some light jogging. The trainers continue to monitor his situation, yet no timetable for his return.

- Steve Zakuani posted a blog entry on SoundersFC.com detailing the aftermath of his injury sustained in Colorado. You can read about it here.

- Lamar Neagle took home MLS Goal of the Week honors for his 83rd minute strike to secure the Sounders win over RSL. Watch and read about it here.

- There are Marcus Hahnemann rumors flying around.

- Sounders Reserves remain undefeated after beating Portland (again) earlier this week. Read about it here.

- And finally, HUGE CONGRATS to Coach Pete Fewing (he helped call the RSL match last week) and the Kitsap Pumas. They defeated the Portland Timbers U-23s on Friday to secure a berth to the US Open Cup tournament. Coach Fewing provides commentary in the pre-match and halftime reports, joining King 5’s Chris Egan and the Alan Hinton during KONG coverage. Read about it here.

We have never won or lost with Terry Vaughn. So, draw? I’d rather win. GO SOUNDERS!
